How VAVEL Premium works

Everything you need to know to join a community, earn points, level up, climb the rankings and, if you are a creator, run your own paid community.

Getting started

How to join a community on VAVEL Premium:

  1. Create your account with your email, Google or Apple. It is the same account as the rest of VAVEL.
  2. Browse the communities and read each one’s introduction: what it covers, who runs it and what is included.
  3. Choose the monthly or annual plan. Each creator sets the price and you see it before paying.
  4. Pay by card through Stripe and get into the community straight away.

Inside a community

  • Wall: posts from the creator and members, with photos, videos and documents.
  • Courses: programmes organised into modules and episodes.
  • Calendar: live sessions and events you can sign up for.
  • Experiences: exclusive perks offered by the creator, paid for with money or points.
  • Leaderboard and members: who is most active in the community.
  • Messages: private conversations with other members.

How you earn points

Levels

Your accumulated points set your level. There are 8 levels, from Rookie to God.

LevelNameFrom
1Rookie0
2Aspirant400
3Warrior1,200
4Cavalier3,000
5Master5,500
6Lord9,500
7King15,000
8God25,000

Accumulated points do not expire. Spending points on an experience does not lower your level.

Experiences

Creators can offer experiences: exclusive perks for their members.

Some are paid with money and others with the points you have earned in that community; the experience card shows how many points it needs.

Buying an experience earns you 80 points, or the points shown on its card if the creator set them.

Rankings

The member ranking orders people by the points they have accumulated, across all communities or within each one.

Every point a member earns inside a community also adds to that community’s total: the community ranking orders them by those points.

Rankings are all-time: they do not reset each week.

For creators

  • Creating a community is free: name, description, cover, intro video, what is included and the monthly or annual price (you can offer free trial days).
  • VAVEL bills your members’ subscriptions through Stripe and you keep 70% of every payment.
  • When your members post, comment, react and sign up for your events, they earn points and your community climbs the community ranking.
  • A complete description and an intro video help people find and join your community.

Payments and cancellation

Subscriptions are monthly or annual, at the price set by each creator, paid by card through Stripe.

Subscriptions are non-refundable; you can cancel whenever you want and it will not renew. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.

To cancel, use the link in your Stripe receipt or write to [email protected].

Quick questions about points

Do points expire?
No. Accumulated points do not expire and keep counting towards your level.
What are points for?
To level up, climb the rankings and, in experiences that allow it, to pay with points instead of money.
Can I lose points?
Only if you delete a comment (its points are taken back) or when you spend them on an experience; spending them does not lower your level.
How many points do I need to reach level 2?
400 points (Aspirant).
